Jessie Bryan Iacono

Jessie is a writer and the author of Beholding Signs, a speculative fantasy exploring identity, destiny, and remembrance in a world divided by the stars. She spent more than sixteen years building the World of Beholding Signs—not because she planned to, but because she couldn’t leave it alone. The questions at the heart of her stories and essays are the same ones she returns to in her own life, what we inherit versus what we choose, how systems shape identity, and what becomes possible when people truly learn to see one another. She lives in Utah with her husband, 3 children, Golden-Doodle Mookie and Bengal cat, Bowie.
